Hei Luca P. Gentile,

Kiitos kysymyksistäsi.

Mikä tämä on? You can generally use this question when something is an object.

Mitä tämä on? You can generally use this question when you want to know the material of the object.

Se on kamera = it´s a camera

Miten sanotan ¨it´s the camera¨?

You can use the same sentence. "Se on kamera". We don't have these strict rules to separate the meaning of words "a" and "the" in these kinds of cases.

If you have any questions, please let us know.

Thank you.

Hei Jerry!

Kiitos paljon kommentistasi, ja hyvin huomattu, meillä tosiaan on virhe 'lesson materials' osiossa! Olet oikeassa, vastauksen kuuluisi olla 'elektroninen sanakirja'.

Thank you so much for your comment, and well spotted, we really do have a mistake in the 'lesson materials' section. You are correct, the answer should be 'elektroninen sanakirja'.
