Hi Leja!

Haha, not to worry, we are only happy if you ask us for clarification, and also point out if we have made some mistakes ourselves.

Yes, 'kasvot', "face", is in the plural form. This is almost always said in the plural form, when referring to someone's face or for example when referring to face care products in cosmetics stores etc.

Sometimes you can also see it in the singular form though, 'kasvo' - this is used when actually referring to the whole person, "She is a new face in the industry" - 'Hรคn on uusi kasvo alalla.'

'Naama' is also "face", yes, but the style of the word is bit more crude or childish. I would recommend you to use the word 'kasvot' instead.

Also, just to let you know, 'naamari', is derived from the word 'naama', and it means "a mask".

Hi - is "kasvot" plural? I am kind of confused; I don't mean to imply anything by being that person who goes "Wait, my dictionary says..." but unfortunately I'm being that person today... :smiling_imp: LOL. Not like you don't know what you're saying or anything, of course - just seeking clarification...

Is "naama" also a correct word for "face", a single face?
