INTRODUCTION
Becky: Must-Know Finnish Social Media Phrases Season 1, Lesson 9 - Talking About an Injury.
Becky: Hi, everyone, I'm Becky.
Nico: And I'm Nico.
Becky: In this lesson, you'll learn how to post and leave comments in Finnish about being injured. Juha suffers a painful injury, posts an image of it, and leaves this comment:
Nico: Nyt kävi näin. Ainakin neljä viikkoa kipsissä. Aika parantaa haavat, eikö niin?
Becky: Meaning - "So this happened. At least four weeks in a cast. Time heals wounds, doesn't it?" Listen to a reading of the post and the comments that follow.
